THE CHARLES PHOENIX HOLIDAY JUBILEE
The Retro Holiday Slide Show Morphs Into a Mid-Century Holiday Variety & Slide Show Shindig Extravaganza!
I love billboards in the living room announcing what time of year it is! But not half as much I love that delicious honey-stained wood paneling going sideways! Gee, I wonder who that kid with the fat head is?
This year I’m thrilled to expand my Retro Holiday Slide Show into a variety show!!! Along with a rip-roarin’ vintage slide show celebrating Halloween, Easter, New Years, Thanksgiving and Christmas I’m very proud to present the legendary Bob Baker Marionettes, a vintage holiday yard ornament light show spectacular and seasonal musical stylings on the Hammond Organ by the world’s greatest roller rink organist. I will be singing a song or two… there will be dancing…and Christmas cooking… all live on stage! And yes, desert will be served!
Brings your family and friends…the more the merrier!!! This is sure to get you in the mood for the holidays…guaranteed!
At the REDCAT Theater in LOS ANGELES (at the WALT DISNEY CONCERT HALL)
DECEMBER 17, 18, 19, 20 @ 8:00 PM
Here’s to Mid-Century Americana Holiday Culture and YOU!!!

PLEASE bring your show to Southern Utah! If not the beautiful red rocks of Southern Utah, how about Vegas? Your Christmas show sounds like it will be great fun!

I caught you show in Denver last Thursday (Nov 29th), thank you so much for taking the time to trawl through all those slides. The presentation was great, not only did I laugh a lot, and as a resident alien (yes even Australians are classified as aliens) I learnt a lot about US modern cultural history.

why the snide and contemptuous comments about the best era in american history?…you come across like a member of the far left 1960’s hippie generation…lighten up and let us enjoy a guiltfree trip back in time, before the “me” generation spoiled america with its drugs, marxist idealogy, and immorality.

Loved your show tonight in Gilbert. My father-in-law retired from Eastman Kodak in Rochester NY in the ’70s. When he passed away almost 3 years ago, we sorted through more than 1500 slides and 1200 photos, many of which could have been in your show and they have been digitized for all eternity. Thanks for a unique way to begin our Christmas season.

I am so sorry I only discovered you yesterday! I just missed your show in LA last week. I am eagerly awaiting the next one! As for Snotty Scotty up above, get a clue. These are loving & humorous tributes to an era gone by, never snide nor contemptuous!
